Event Venue

The barn at the farm is a one-of-a-kind venue offering unlimited possibilities for events as it is comprised of a two attached buildings: a real barn, and a modern multifunction building that includes a commercial kitchen. Family gatherings, weddings, chairity fundraisers, company meetings, parties are all easily hosted. The barn itself is situated among 10 beautiful acres between Walloon Lake Village and Boyne City. The property includes fields and woods . . . great for outdoor activities.

The Barn - It is a "real" barn, constructed in the 20's, and was once providing traditional farm functions with animals. Its nearly 2000 square feet has been converted into an eclectic event venue. The dirt floor is gone as are the 2 horse stalls, but the "see thru" walls created by nearly 100 years of service remain, as does the hay loft. A "the way it used to be" room provides a welcoming entrance and access to the large, open area which can be used for banquets, dances, receptions, etc. Modern lighting, a bar with back bar, and a juke box mix with last-century farm decor to create this one-of-a-kind venue.

Adjacent to the barn is a 35 ft by 65 ft patio which can be fully tented. It will easily seat up to 200 guests.

Multifunction Building - Attached to the Barn is a 1600 square foot building that can be utilized for a variety of functions such as dining, classes, cocktails, etc. It includes 3 modern bathrooms and provides access to a flower/herb garden with tables and chairs. The 450 square foot commercial kitchen area is in this building. The kitchen includes: large refrigerator, large freezer, large brick oven, food prep areas and approved clean up sinks. Your caterer will love working in this space!
